Spreading across a spectacular Andean valley, visitors are introduced to Venezuela upon arriving in Caracas, where they find a mix of skyscrapers dwarfed by a towering mountains, colonial architecture and monument from the time of Simon Bolivar. Close by is the Caribbean coastal city of Puerto La Cruz and a short flight away, the lively vacation mecca of Margarita Island. A vacation to Venezuela would not be complete without a flight-seeing thrill over Angel Falls, the longest cascade in the world, on the way to a jungle lodge stay at Canaima, part of a national park area of flattop mountains called "typuyes", waterfalls, exotic flora, fauna and tropical birds.

Caracas
Is set at the foot of the beautiful Avila Mountain Park: a tropical city with a climate described by many as "everlasting spring". Canaima
Canaima National Park, the size of Switzerland is located on the table-top mountain Tepuis region of Venezuela. Angel Falls, the highest water falls in the world, is located in the most famous of these Tepuis, the Auyan-tepui.
