The astonishing breath and beauty of Peru is unsurpassed. Warm open smiles, rich vibrant colors, etchings on earth seen only from the sky, lost cities of silver and gold, and newly discovered cities , plus the grandeur of the Amazon river and the romance of its forest, all this and more are waiting for you. Peru covers less then one quarter of a percent of the earth land mass, yet within this tiny Country exists a complex system of diverse life zones and biological niches containing up to twenty percent of the world's bird species. Because the coast and the highlands and rainforest of Peru are so different from each other, traveling through them is an experience not to be missed.
The majestic heritage left by the pre-Columbian Moche, Chimi, Nazca and Inca civilization offer visitors to Peru an amazing discovery of myths, legends and reality. Lima, its capital blends the old Spanish Colonial palaces and cathedrals with modern hotels. It's museums are filled with treasures from ancient civilizations, such as the Incas whose capital, Cuzco, is the gateway to the impressive ruins of Machu Picchu.
